One of the most fundamental tools in decolonizing, undoing sexism, and surviving oppression, is learning to love ourselves. In both my healing circles and individual sessions, I encourage self and collective care in order to appreciate ourselves in ways that only we can, because as women of color, loving ourselves is revolutionary.

Tanto en mis círculos de sanación como en mis sesiones individuales, promuevo el cuidado personal y colectivo para valorarnos a nosotros mismos de una manera que solo nosotras podemos, porque como mujeres de color, amarnos a nosotras mismas es revolucionario.

Liner Nuñez is a queer AfroLatina from the Dominican Republic. Holding a B.A. in Gender Studies, a Masters in Social Work for Community Organizing, and as a Licensed psychotherapist she spends her time healing folx through Afro Indigenous modalities.
As an act of interrupting and undoing gender based violence, racism, and colonization, her work is dedicated to nurturing one’s niña interior and reconnecting the spiritual with the mental. Liner’s most powerful actions of resistance are in the development and facilitation of group healing circles, birth work, individual counseling, ancestral healing retreats, and writing.

Liner Nuñez es una afrolatina queer de República Dominicana. Licenciada en Estudios de Género y psicoterapeuta Liner, dedica su tiempo a curar personas a través de modalidades afroindígenas. Como un acto de interrumpir y deshacer la violencia de género, el racismo y la colonización, su trabajo está dedicado a sanar al niño interior y reconectar lo espiritual con lo mental. Las acciones de resistencia más poderosas de Liner se encuentran en el desarrollo y facilitación de círculos de sanación grupal, trabajo de parto, asesoramiento individual, retiros de sanación ancestral y su escritura.
